Step 1: Make sure you have purchased the correct wiper blades

To check that the new wiper blades are the correct size, flip the old wiper blade up so that the rubber side is facing the sky, put the new wiper blade parallel to the old wiper blade to compare size. Remember that often times the driver’s side and the passenger’s side wiper blades are not the same size, so don’t be alarmed if there are a few inches difference between the two. Once you are satisfied with the new wiper blades you can now start the fitment.

BE CAREFUL NOT TO LET GO OF THE ARM OF THE WIPER BLADE AS IT MAY DROP AND DAMAGE YOUR WINDSCREEN.

Step 2: Removing the old wiper blade

Note that some wiper blades may have different connector pieces. These will all work differently. First find which connector your wiper blades use. Once you have established the connector you are now ready to begin. Unhook the clip by separating the two sides of the wiper blade. Keep the two separated while pulling down until the wiper blade is separated from the metal arm.

Step 3: Installing the new wiper blade

Line up the new wiper blade horizontally above the arm with the rubber facing down towards the windshield. Slide the wiper down over the arm. Gently slide the replacement blade until it is in line with the j shaped hook. Push the wiper blade down until it clips into the hook.

Step 4: Repeat on the other side

The process will be the same for the other side just ensure that you have the correct wiper blade size for each side.

Step 5: Check that the wipers are connected

Wiggle the wiper blade to ensure that you have clipped them in properly before attempting to use them.

Step 6: Check that they are working

Gently place the wiper blade down. After installing them do a check by spraying your windshield and look for streaking, squeaking and any other issues.
